Q. When is sea turtle nesting season?

A. May through October every year is the sea turtle nesting season. The beaches at Indian Pass and Gulf County have a “Leave No Trace” ordinance to help protect these sea creatures: please turn off all lights visible to the beach at night. Please take all beach chairs and umbrellas up when you are finished with them. Keep the beach clear of obstacles at night - fill in holes left at the beach, take down tents daily; and please no glass at the beach.
